The CIMA (UK) stands for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. It is a globally recognized professional qualification in management accounting and business strategy, jointly offered by AICPA & CIMA under the CGMA designation.
Students who have completed their Class 12 (any stream) or hold a bachelor’s degree are eligible to begin their CIMA journey. Graduates in commerce or finance may be eligible for paper exemptions based on prior education.
The CIMA (UK) qualification has four levels:
- Certificate Level
- Operational Level
- Management Level
- Strategic Level
Each level builds upon financial, managerial, and strategic decision-making skills leading to the CGMA designation.
